Wofür sind Zungenbrecher gut?

Zungenbrecher, oder Tongue Twister, sind eine gute Möglichkeit, um eine Fremdsprache zu üben. Sicher kennen Sie und Ihr Kind einige deutsche Exemplare: „Zehn Zebras zogen zehn Ziegen zum Zoo“ oder „Fischers Fritze fischt frische Fische“. Durch das Aufsagen der Zungenbrecher konzentriert sich Ihr Kind auf die einzelnen Worte, achtet genau auf die Aussprache und hat einen spielerischen Anreiz, sich die Vokabeln einzuprägen.

Und so geht’s:

  • Ihr Kind liest zuerst langsam und deutlich den Satz vor.
  • Es übersetzt, was es schon versteht und erschließt sich die fehlenden Vokabeln.
  • Im Anschluss wiederholt es den Tongue Twister und erhöht dabei das Tempo.

Das Ziel ist es, den Zungenbrecher schnell und fehlerfrei aufsagen zu können. Wenn Ihr Kind sich beim nächsten Vokabeltest gedanklich den Zungenbrecher aufsagt, erinnert es sich wieder an die dazugehörigen Vokabeln.
